On 20th and 21st August 2026, DDUMC organized the Students’ Induction Programme to kick-start the new academic session 2026-2029 for BBA and BCA students. This was a day filled with laughter, excitement, and sheer motivation, which encouraged the freshers to embark on a journey from campus to career. 

This two-day event was a memorable one for the freshers and will be remembered in their lifetime as the first day of their college. At DDUMC, the orientation day was more than an introductory programme. It was an opportunity for the freshers to understand the campus environment, meet faculty and peers, explore campus life and opportunities, and gain clarity in starting their journey. What is the Student Induction Programme at DDUMC? 

The Student Induction Programme is a welcome day for freshers as they begin their academic journey. It is the first day of college where students become familiar with the campus, academic expectations, campus facilities, faculty, student activities, and other opportunities. This event can also be considered a bridge between school life and college life. It provides students with an overview of the academic journey. 

A Warm Welcome to the Campus 

Nestled in the lush green cantonment area of Meerut, DDUMC is the top private college in Meerut. The college is celebrated for its high-quality education and exceptional placements. Students are provided with an environment that encourages them to learn, grow, and excel. 

Each year, the college conducts a student induction program to offer a warm welcome to a new batch of students. This event is not just a welcome introduction but also enables students to identify classrooms, interact with faculty, meet classmates, and understand the different activities of the campus. 

Inside DDUMC’s Student Induction Program 2026 

On August 20 and 21, 2026, DDUMC organized the Student Induction Programme- Deeksharambh 2026, to welcome the new batch of BBA and BCA students. The event turned out to be a motivation booster as the guests of honour and esteemed alumni shared their words to encourage students. 

On the first day, 20th August, it was an event for BCA students. The event began with a spectacular dance performance by students of the 2nd year. Then it was followed by motivational speeches by the guests of honour and notable speakers. 

The other day, 21st August, was the event for BBA students. The event also began with a spectacular dance performance and was then followed by motivational speeches from notable speakers, alumni, and guests of honour. 

At the end of the event, students were also provided with refreshments. These events turned out to be motivation boosters that also provided a road map and the do’s and don’ts to the students for their entire college journey.
