Navratri is a vibrant festival of dance, music, and festivities, celebrating the divine power of the feminine. To celebrate the spirit of this vibrant festival, DDUMC organized Dandiya night, a joyous event that brought a tide of happiness, fun, and togetherness and also left behind a treasure trove of memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. The event was celebrated with perfect traditional attire, dolled-up looks, dancing skills, and flawless décor.

On October 9, DDUMC organized a joyful event, dandiya night to celebrate the spirit of Navratri. The event was celebrated with great fun and enthusiasm, reflecting the festive spirits at its peak. Preparations for this spectacular event began a week ago, starting with the invitations and ultimately ending with a night that witnessed a riot of colors, a joyous celebration with lots of dance, music, and fun. After a normal day of exhausting lectures, the event began in the evening, when the campus was shining with lights and gleam and echoed with the laughter and giggles of students. The traditionally dolled-up students add a spark to the event. They were first served with some refreshments and then the speaker blasted the tunes for the night. It was the time for students to forget all about their monotonous lives and immerse in the spirit of festivity.

The campus was perfectly adorned to create a thrilling aura where everybody can enjoy and dance to the rhythmic Dandiya beats. The spectacular music ensured that all were glued to the floor throughout the event, rejoicing in their hearts and minds.

The night ended on a warm note, with a delightful dinner and the wide smiles on the faces of students who made the most of the event. At last, it was an evening loaded with happiness, joy, enthusiasm, and a spirit of togetherness that will always be cherished by the attendants.
