Five Main Elements
The book is a sign and symbol of wisdom, knowledge, insight, and awareness. An open book says we have nothing to hide, our open hands spread teachings to all. The education provided here helps our learners to solve problems, to regain, to resolve, to achieve and to create futures.
The Leaves of Laurel Wreath shows the progress from bottom to top and signifies prosperity, richness, and victory.
We are inspired by our heritage building which has a base of four pillars. These four pillars represent the four components and support our students from four directions. These pillars point toward Learning to know, Learning to do, Learning to be, and Learning to live together forever.
A torch in the logo represents the bright shine, gives our students endurance, and inspires them to shine like stars.
The design of the DDUMC Logo is rendered in Red and Blue. The colour red is associated with Power, Energy, Strength, Desire, Purpose and Passion, the Colour Blue is a soothing colour that signifies Faith, Trust, Devotion, Wisdom, and Honesty.
